From 1996, we identified an opportunity and pursued it, recruiting several partners who were heads of IT groups in their respective law firms. Since then, we have appointed other technology and telecoms' partners, and we now have lawyers in the UK, USA and Germany, all dedicated to advising on legal issues relevant to the technology and telecoms' sectors.

In 1998, we opened an office in Reading to service the UK's technology heartland as well as our strong corporate finance practice. In 2000, we opened an independent office in Silicon Valley, USA, making us the first pan-European legal services provider to locate in the Californian technology capital. The initiative involves all of the European partners of Osborne Clarke Alliance. We remain dedicated to helping our network of international clients, and take pride in providing a pro-active service.

Areas of expertise include e-business, interactive entertainment, biotechnology, data protection and sales channels, as well as electronic payment systems and outsourcing.
