Leona specialises in contentious property matters and is rated as a leading lawyer in this field in both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories.. She acts for investors, developers and corporate occupiers in relation to all aspects of contentious commercial property work.

Leona is technically excellent in her advice but always commercial and practical in her approach, particularly where there are on-going relationships to preserve, which is an absolute must when dealing with property disputes. She understands the industry and the needs and priorities of those who work within it.

Leona is currently advising a number of residential and commercial developers on misrepresentation/breach of contract claims, option disputes and rights of light.  She is advising a  major retailer on various complicated break notice issues and is acting for a telecoms company in an arbitration regarding the interpretation of lease terms; and is advising on many other aspects of commercial landlord and tenant and real property matters for a variety of clients.

Leona regularly gives lectures on contentious property issues to clients and other contacts. She joined Osborne Clarke in 1992 and was made a partner in 2000.
