
Nigel leads a team dealing with restructuring and insolvency issues. He is a licensed insolvency practitioner and has substantial
experience acting for lenders, corporates, directors, creditors and office holders in restructuring situations.
Nigel also acts for the Insolvency Service in cases under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986.
Chambers and Partners report that his team is "extremely impressive in strength and depth". Clients endorse its "commercial
lawyers who don't drop the ball; they cross every T and cover every angle." Nigel is singled out by The Legal 500 "for heavyweight
insolvency work and his expertise in administrations, as well as his personable style", whilst Chambers reports that he is
a "great all-rounder" who is "responsive, personable and unflappable in the deepest crises".
Recent experience includes acting on a solvent Section 425 scheme of arrangement of a public company and advice on a complex
restructuring of a multi-jurisdictional business. He has also been involved in many administrations for a variety of clients.
Nigel joined Osborne Clarke in 1997 and became a partner in 2002.
