
Adrian has expertise in a broad range of corporate matters, particularly corporate finance, Official List and AIM take-overs and flotations, acquisitions, corporate joint ventures, employee incentive arrangements and all aspects of public company work. Predominantly acting for communications, digital media, technology and internet companies, Adrian's clients are mainly publicly quoted but also range from start-ups to multi-nationals.
Adrian has been active in significant corporate joint ventures (including Carphone Warehouse/AOL and Carphone Warehouse/BestBuy) and has handled many of the "milestone" internet-related M&A transactions recently, including the sales of Friends Reunited to ITV Group, of uSwitch to The E. W. Scripps Company and the recommended offer for Datamonitor.
Adrian qualified in 1980 and since then has practised as a corporate lawyer. Following 14 years as a partner (and Head of
Corporate) at Olswang, he joined Osborne Clarke as a partner and Head of Corporate in May 2002. He was recently rated as being
exceptional in his field by his peers in the Chambers & Partners guide to the legal profession.
