
Stephanie is a Senior Associate with over 10 years experience of advising on all aspects of UK and EU competition law. She has a particular interest in public procurement.
She has conducted many merger cases in the UK as well as co-ordinating cross-border merger filings. She has recently advised Arriva and been successful in obtaining clearance on its completed acquisition of the Cross Country franchise - this was the first OFT clearance under the revised "de minimis" exception. Stephanie also has extensive experience of advising clients on competition investigations by the OFT and providing strategic competition advice on commercial trading arrangements and policy. Over the last few years, Stephanie has built up significant expertise in advising clients in the IT, natural resources, retail and transport sectors.
Stephanie is spearheading the development of the public procurement practice. She acts for both contracting authorities and
bidders, advising on the application of the public procurement rules, especially to complex scenarios, and compliance with
the tendering procedures. She has provided advice and training on the recent Public Procurement Regulations and has worked
with a number of organisations to improve and implement public procurement compliance programmes.
In Legal 500, 2005, Stephanie won praise for "good-quality advice turned around in exactly the time we needed".
Stephanie joined Osborne Clarke in 2001. She has a Masters Degree in European Legal Studies and has previously worked at
the European Commission in Brussels.
